Short talks about interesting things.

Batman looking at a card: hmm, interesting

In May, we go to an annual conference called Interesting, held in London. We listen to short talks about interesting things. We love it so much that we're bringing the format to Brink and Africa Practice this summer, and we'd love you to be a part of it.

This is an off-the-radar side quest, so that we can surprise and delight. Please don't share this mission with anyone else. Especially not SLT, or Brinksters / APers who can't keep secrets. Say nothing.

What you need to know

When
Wed 26th & Thurs 27th August, around lunchtime.
The format
8 speakers, 2 days. Short talks, hosted on Zoom, split across the two days.
What to talk about
A subject you find really interesting, that is completely non-work related.
How long
9–10 minutes. Slides or no slides, doesn't matter.
NB
It is not your job to inform or entertain. Your only job is to talk about something that's interesting to you. We'll make it very clear to the audience that it's their job to be interested. The joy is that the audience is only ever 10 minutes away from a new topic.
